Clarissa’s doormat of a husband for more than fifty years. Sometimes a peacemaker, always a yes-man and gopher, careful with his words and rarely honest when they conflict with hers.

Clarissa’s husband of fifty years. A lifelong yes-man and reluctant peacemaker, careful with his words and rarely honest when they clash with hers.
Cheryl Crow
Lead singer of Birds Without Borders, a rare white crow who blends prophecy with sharp sarcasm. Her flawless voice keeps her ex Edgar hopelessly in love as they patrol the park, singing and stirring chaos.
Edgar Allen Crow
Retired Air Force Carrier First Class with a Purple Heart and a permanently crooked flight path. Bigger than Cheryl, slower on the wit. Her estranged husband, backup singer, and unwavering protector.
